I blame Hedi… The second those models appeared I noticed 2 things: 1. the sexiness of a hat and 2. the perfection of a cigarette pant. (next post must discuss the pant situation!) We all know I love a perfect outfit completer and this one clearly justifies this. It’s been non-stop thinking/day-dreaming/drooling/post-it noting/wishing/waiting/wanting for that damn hat. While I would love to have the Saint Laurent… I have since gained some finance knowledge and know that this will not be happening. I found a suitable second place.. second place is the first loser but whatever. It will do. Can’t be saving for that apartment in Paris if I am buying Saint Laurent. However… I will be stalking the streets of Paris with my hat and my covered eyes and taking it all in.

Today was one of those days in NYC that only a New Yorker would understand… 55 degrees. Sun piercing. Brisk air. Hoards of people out and about on 5th Ave. Lana Del Rey piercing in your iPhone drowning out the chatter around you. It was a moment in your cozy sweater, skinny denim and little cashmere skully that you say to yourself, “I love NY. I love you so much!” It makes you fall in love all over again with your first boyfriend. But then as you stroll, you think of that other boyfriend that you cheat with every now and then… Paris. And then you think….“I love Paris. I love it so much. I just need to move there!” Moving forward this fall with a dream list….and nothing is dulling my sparkle this time.
