Greetings dear readers,
It’s Monday and time for a new little column to keep this blog alive and runnin’ on a daily basis. Let’s face it, Monday’s are not so fun. The beginning of the week..calendar meetings, early wake-ups, no late-night wine drinking…it’s just not the best of the week right? And it certainly doesn’t help matters when the temperature is 15 degrees and you despise everything that is hanging in your closet. As of late, my style has grown up. I turned 30 and pffft, the attitude and the streamline of dressing got a little more aged. With pre-fall being shown, my little memo pad of wish lists seems to be growing. New micron pen, lined paper and save image feature at the ready for style.com. Derek Lam’s collection has just the right attitude, just the right color, the equal amount of femme meets masculine and the ever so addicting pant silhouette. Out with the dresses and in with the pants. I used to only want to wear a dress, a flowy skirt..times have changed. Give me a perfectly tailored pant, a printed little number and I’ll show you a hundred ways to wear them. Needless to say, I want everything he showed. Sign me up for pre-list.

this will surely be in my closet soon...denim pieced pants? menswear oxford? plaid jacket with a fur? speechless!
the sweater has me wrapped up with giddiness...neutral with pale mustard and color block clean. wear endlessly.
this dress makes an exception...wish list to go to marrakech, this will be in the suitcase first.
a lingerie inspired dress with the savile row jacket and mink? why most definitely.
And with that, I am off to brace the chilly NYC weather and see what my closet has to offer for the remainder of the work weeks style sessions!
